I’m gonna go a head and say it:

Never Let Me Go was a terrible movie. There was no ending. That is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to movies. End it. Unless you already have the money in hand for a sequel…end it. 

Aside from that, I like Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield separately as individual actors, but together they are just so bland. So very bland. Also I kind of like the idea that they loved each other from when they were children and all that, but he never actually liked her. He went off and got a girlfriend and like..what? Also, at the end, when you think they’re gonna be together and be happy…you find out they don’t have souls and thus they can’t be in love and the only reason they did art was to see if they had souls but it turns out they don’t and like…explaining to someone who thinks they have feelings and are totally normal that actually hey, you look like a human, but actually you’re just a shell is so awkward.
